All New 2023 Honda CR-V: Hybrid SUV arriving in October 2022

Honda CR-V, one of Honda's best-selling SUVs in the world, got a stunning redesign for the 2023 model. Honda's official Instagram page shared the new launch on September 22, 2022, and the teasers back in July 2022. 2023 Honda CR-V Advanced Specs: Engine Options

The new 2023 Honda CR-V enthusiasts have two choices of engine options, fully gas-powered model comes with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which can generate 193 PS and 242 Nm of torque. The engine is claimed to be upgraded focusing on the turbo to increase responsivity and decreased noises and vibrations. For the turbocharged model, Honda offers two variants in CR-V EX and EX-L that will go on sale before the hybrid. The hybrid model combines a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine with two electric motors which are able to produce 207 PS and 335 Nm of torque. The engine specification is similar to the Honda Civic e: HEV. The hybrid model comes with Sport and Sport Touring at the end of the year.

"Build for Adventure" Exterior

With a longer wheelbase and wider stance, the all-new 2023 Honda CR-V has the versatility to take all kinds of adventures. The exterior is larger than the previous CR-V model with a sporty design. The sports styling gets even more forceful with the gloss-black grille. Complemented by bright and peculiar LED headlights that provide more illumination than earlier models. The alloy wheels come in gloss-black for dramatic presence. Vertical taillights have been a hallmark of CR-V design, 2023 Honda CR-V look brings a more modern edge.

Spacious Interior

Alongside the longer stance of the all-new 2023 Honda CR-V comes a roomy cabin. Borrowing from Honda Civic, the 2023 Honda CR-V comes with an exclusive and expanded dashboard with a 7-inch panel screen in the middle. The interior comes in all black with spacious storage. The 2023 Honda CR-V has the most storage and glove box for a vehicle in its class. With the leather-trimmed seatings, the model offers an extra measure of comfort and style. The sports styling is also shown in the hybrid trims on the steering wheel, seats, and shift knob. For the driver, the new 2023 Honda CR-V has an all-digital interface that shows all the necessary vehicle information.

Worry no more for all the adventurers, new 2023 Honda CR-V has a low and wide cargo opening with 76.5 cubic feet of cargo space, so you can load and store big items and adventure gears. The second-row seats are also very flexible to be reclined, folded, or split so adventure seekers can fit more cargo or accommodate passengers, or both.

Next-Generation Technology

The Intelligent Control System in Real-Time AWD is said to get even better with the new 2023 Honda CR-V. The improved cornering traction performance sends extra power to the rear wheels when it senses the steering wheel turning. The hybrid model comes with a two-motor hybrid powertrain that is equally sporty and efficient to operate and offers dynamic acceleration. The hybrid model also has Sport Mode for maximum acceleration response. Moreover, the hybrid model has an easy to understand power meter that monitors the hybrid battery power.

The panel screen is also compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The compatibility allows you to access your iPhone or Android Phone from maps, and text messages to the music library through touch-screen and cable-less. A cordless phone charger is also available for EX-L and Sport Touring Hybrid models.

For your peace of mind, the new 2023 Honda CR-V also has many innovations from a blind spot information system that alerts the presence of other vehicles near your CR-V, a cross traffic monitor that alerts when there is an approaching vehicle detected, to parking sensors and multi-angle rearview camera, and lastly, Honda Walk Away Auto Lock.

The All-New 2023 Honda CR-V is available in 8 colors for EX, EX-L, Sport, and Sport Touring trims. The turbocharged models will be available for sale in September 2022 and the Hybrid models are expected to follow in October 2022 in the US. For Europe and Asia, the All-New 2023 Honda CR-V will be available at the end of the year and early next year.
