2024 Chevrolet Lineup All We Know: Silverado HD, Silverado EV, And Trax

As 2022 is getting close to the end of the year, people are pretty excited about the new Chevy in 2023. But as if never enough, people start predicting or asking about the 2024 Chevrolet lineup. The good news is, they are not disappointing the fan's expectations. Some of the new debuts appear in the form of the SUV Trax, Silverado HD, and the Silverado EV. How much do we know about the news?

2024 Silverado EV - 2024 Chevrolet

The 2024 market might come with a huge lineup comprising an electrified machine under the hood. Chevy will likely join the market by developing a working truck Silverado with EV. Is it worth considering? As much as the trend and information going, the 2024 EV Silverado will have a similar powertrain as GMC Hummer EV, which is a nice factor to take.

However, the Silverado goes into a classic pickup truck midgate design and additional storage with a cab. It pretty much looks like the 2000s pickup truck. But the biggest shout-out comes from the large battery pack with a capacity reaching up 400 miles of ranges per charge for the super punchy powertrain, dual electric motors for 664 hp.

But for a 2024 Chevrolet pickup, the car can haul up to 1300 pounds of payload with towing up reaching 10K pounds. The inside is pretty much standard with some extra cushion and modernization of glass roof plus two-tone leather upholstery. Infotainment is filled with digital equipment. No price detail yet, but the lowest tier is predicted to be around $40K.

2024 Silverado HD

Compared to the EV version, the 2024 HD focus on the monster's working performance. The official states that the car will have its heavy-duty performance with the help of a 6.6 L turbo diesel V8 Duramax and 10-speed transmission from Allison. In its performance, the car might able to reach 470 Hp and torque of 975-pound feet.

At the front side, a huge Chevrolet name is entailed on the huge black grill. The car also uses C-shaped DRL or daytime running light. A nice emboss on the side says High country makes the car manly, especially with its 2024 Chevrolet black exterior for the midnight edition. Huge 20-inch-high gloss black aluminum wheels or 22-inch-high gloss aluminum wheels are also available for users.

For an HD version focusing on its work truck function, the car has some amazing bed features. Durabed and multi-flex tailgates offer six different functions. All made the load and unload access easier. The HD car also has at least 30K lbs of towing pressure. At the same time, the maximum towing with some other technologies bumps up the performance to 22,5K lbs.

2024 Trax

Not only about the pickup, but the Trax also get some new addition to its SUV lineup. Planned to hit the road in Spring 2023, the car has a lot of hype thanks to its affordable starting MSRP of $21,495. The car also hit the market with the all-new edition, making the car look bolder, with unique styling, amazing tech, and bigger.

The SUV from the 2024 Chevrolet has its lower, longer, and wider architecture to be a more functional small SUV. Its sharp exterior adds a certain personality and appears muscular for the Activ trim or sporty for the RS trim. With that design, Trax highlights its cabin comfort and driver-oriented cabin comfort. The longer wheelbase serves to increase size optimization.

Under the hood, the car does not do much. It eventually has a single engine choice with a turbocharge s1.2 liter inline-three engine. For a small subcompact SUV, Trax is good enough even with the quite lazy 137 horsepower and 162-pound feet of torque. For a bit step up, the Trailblazer base engine has more power of 155 horsepower thanks to its 1.3 L turbo three engine.

One thing is for sure, the biggest point to flex is the affordable prices. The car price started at around $21, 495 for its base Trax LS. It comes with enough infotainment and features for the 2024 Chevrolet. A higher trim is around $23K to around $25K for the active trim. Higher trim has some extra features such as a larger 11.0-inch touchscreen, sunroof, adaptive cruise control, and many others.

It is always a blessing for automotive fans, that Chevy does not stop its creation in 2023, especially with many brands going fully electric. And with the 2024 lineup, some EV cars with capable powertrains are planned to hit the road. At the same time, 2024 as it has a bigger, bolder, and more refined design for SUVs.
