2024 Nissan Z Car – Can We Expect Something Better Than The Lacking Update Of 2023 Z?

The 2023 Nissan Z car do get a lot of updates to make it one of the all-new option. It gets faster, better looking, and softer on the ride. But the caveat does have its dearth. It is mostly based on the previous platform. So, it is a stale update. It raises fans' questions and hopes for the 2024 Nissan Z Car. But what can we expect from next year's update?

2023 Z Car And Its Familiarity With Previous Gen

The 2023 Z car from Nissan does have a lot to offer, especially with the powertrain development that peaking up for the sporting activity. With the long history of Z cars, reaching more than 53 years, people are pretty excited about the new lineup. However, 2023 somehow lacks in its platform and architecture just to save budget.

There are several changes in the performance, interior, or exterior. It is pretty much similar to the previous generation, with some little improvement in it. The cabin still uses the same split control as the last model. A bit of improvement is on the technology, with its new 12.3-inch digital instrument. There is also turbo boost, speed, or voltage gauges on the dash.

It also has a familiar performance with the 370Z's engineering. So, can you expect more in the 2024 Nissan Z Car? Both the 2023 version and the previous gen have its progress in providing more agile and softer movement. They both use turbocharged V-6, which improves stiffness and handles the extra power. With the stronger bones and tweaked suspension, it feels comfier to drive.

The Only Different In Powertrain

The biggest and main difference from 2023 is the powertrain. Many other aspects have familiar styles and models, with slight addition or changes to them. Therefore, there are fewer expectations for the 2023 Z car. But the current generation Z can reach 400 ponies when it is fully cranked, thus bringing more power.

It is a bit of a downgrade, considering the old GT-R has the muscles 565 hp 3.8-liter enginery. Meanwhile, 2023 only gets the 400 hp 3.0-liter mill for the car. While it gets some downgrade, the car still runs with playful handling and quick acceleration. Could the 2024 Nissan Z Car get better? That is what makes people attracted to see the new plan.

Surprisingly enough, 2023 has a higher price tag compared to the outgoing 370Z's. The predecessor tends to have more power and better design, which makes the Z ups its luxury feature and desirable styling. It even comes up with three different tiers, raking up its pricing list from $41K to more than $54K for the Z proto spec.

What To Expect In The 2024 Line Up?

Is the 2023 gen Z disappointing? Rather than call it disappointment, it is best to say that the car is a bit underwhelming. A new powertrain, exterior style, a revised interior, and a downgraded powertrain make it less exciting. It feels like Nissan rushed the gen Z to appear in the market, especially with how many familiarities with the previous model.

Since 2023 just reach the market in the summer of 2022, there is no clear information about the next 2024 lineup. It is best to keep an eye on the brand considering many rivals have gone with higher specs to fit the market's segment. In other words, chances that next year's version will get even better with a more powerful engine in it.

A sportier look might beautify next year's lineup. Expect the similar GT-R twin-turbo V6, slant nose with a rear wing for the cleaner and sportier Nismo iteration, and probably a few retro influences on the design. In many ways, the 2024 Nissan Z Car is not here yet. It is simply a fictional expectation, but with the more competitive market Nissan should step up their game.

Overall, there is no exact information about the 2024 lineup for the Nissan Z car. It is best to see it as a fictional hope, considering the new 2023 Z car just hit up the market. But again, the lack of grand updates on the 2023 version makes people higher hope for next year. It is especially true for the faster powertrain, better cabin, and looker exterior design.
