Minor But Roaring Updates, 2023 New Muscle Car From Dodge Start Hit The Road

2023 is just around the corner, and many automobile brands announced their new products. But the muscle car segment is surprisingly quiet. There is not much roaring news, except for the three 2023 new muscle cars from Dodge. Is it even considered new? Mostly no, since fans can only assume some minor update. Nevertheless, it is a worthy detail to learn about.

2023 new Muscle Car; 2023 Dodge Challenger

Bad news for the muscle car's fans, the classic Dodge Challenger and Charger will likely be dropped from the market. The lines have slowly appeared dated, with many other segments flaunting powerful Hp with a more attractive appearance. But Dodge does not want to disappoint their fans yet. The 2023 challenger is predicted to get some minor updates.

2023 New Muscle Car

The new 345 badges from Challenger come with its strong V-8 engines, which still pump the driver's excitement. The non-SRT powertrain is the 5.7 L V-8 engine with R/T models. The gutsy engine also has an all-wheel drive system, making it more powerful to spout 375 to 485 hp. The strongest one in the line is its SRT Hellcat with a 6.2L supercharged V8 for 717 hp.

The 2023 new muscle car Challenger still has its classic interior with a simple design inspired by the 1970s ear accommodation. It makes the cabin roomy with a back seat good enough for an adult. Infotainment is standards, which make the car focus on performance. It does hs comfy performance but does not do much for a car priced from $32K.

2023 Dodge Charger

Getting stronger and faster is the 2023 dodge charger, King Daytona. Auto lovers call it the last call special edition for the charger king Daytona because it has the SRT hellcat redeye widebody. For the update, the new car has an extra 10 Hp from its 6.2 L V8. In total, the fancy hefty car can spout 807 horsepower.

The large four-door muscle car will have several updates as the last calls, it includes four colors and jailbreak customization for the standard 2023 new muscle car Hellcats and Redeyes. In the general sense, the Charger lines also come up with many updates on its powertrain. Price-wise, the car is in the price range starting from $34K.

The standard is 292-hp v6 with rear-wheel drive. It also has a step up from the higher version with the R/T trim for a 379 hp 5.7-liter v8 engine. For a muscle car with room for family, the car gets even faster on the scat-pack models. It does not have a 6.4 liter v-8 that can reach 485 hp. Not fast enough? You can check out the hellcat model and king Daytona.

For a muscle car with family space inside, Charger is pretty responsible for its fuel economy. The estimation for the 485 hp v8 is around 26 mpg highway. Inside, the cabin is roomy and functional but far from the sense of luxury. The material for the 2023 new muscle car is pretty cheap and the infotainment is barely there with a 7.0- or 8.4-inch touchscreen.

2023 Dodge Charger Daytona SRT EV

As the older and classic muscle closely sees its end, there is a chance of a better option for the Dodge EV or electric vehicle. The news highlight that the brands currently come with its all-electric charger Daytona SRT concept. There are no clear leaks of the information, but at least some hints are thrown to make the market hyped for a bit.

2023 New Muscle Car

The EV is designed to appear and sound like a normal Hellcat with its exhaust system. It appears with 400 volts or topping the ranges with an 800-volt Banshee electric engine.  The news was unveiled on August 17 and will appear in 2024. There is no extracted information but the dodge electric future for the 2023 new muscle car can be a great solution for a possible hybrid option.

Does the 2023 dodge worth its crown for the new muscle car segment? Since there are no exact details on other brands and products, Dodge still take the reign in 2022. The minor updates are not that bad, but the EV can be a proper introduction for 2023. Dodge might need to step up their works to challenge other segments, which attract a lot of excitement.
